How to Create Greeting Message

A greeting message or welcome message will be sent by our bot to your visitors as a way to ‘break the ice’ and start a conversation. A good greeting message generally includes:

  • A friendly, personalized greeting message,
  • Introduction information about your company,
  • What your business offers, and
  • An engaging question.

To make your greeting message more personalized, you can include your visitor’s name in the greeting. In BisDig you can include a placeholder:

  • {{user_first_name}} will be replaced by visitor’s first name
  • {{user_last_name}} will be replaced by visitor’s last name
  • {{user_full_name}} will be replaced by visitor’s full name

Here’s the example:

Hi {{user_first_name}} are you feeling hungry?
